Never forget that spring will happen: thea wang releases debut single "Tell Me About It"

There is something wonderfully unique in thea wang's solar system. With deep intensity she transforms random encounters, loneliness and love into euphonious short stories that open doors into others lives - and we get to be guests for a little while.

This summer, the Norwegian songwriter will release her debut album on Made Records and is now releasing the first single out of this body of work to you. With a voice as bounteous as a ripe orange, thea offers you "Tell Me About It". A simple song of heart-stopping beauty and fond nostalgia, that foretells the upcoming spring that we are all longing for so desperately at the moment.

The song is off to an excellent start across DSPs, with spots in a dozen New Music Fridays and eight New Music Dailys across the globe as well as editorial playlists like Mellow Days, Cozy Blend, New Pop Picks, Peaceful Pop, Nordic Folk or A Walk Alone.

thea says about the song: "'Tell Me About It' is about growing up and letting go. It is about those times when you're not sure of who you are anymore, and you need someone or something to help you remember. It's about becoming, belonging, and about looking back and forward at the same time. Sometimes it is a place you have to go to, and sometimes it's talking to someone that knows you well. Carrying all the 'ages' you've been inside."
